Thanksgiving is Coming!
This time of year is one of my favorite times of the year. (Minus the snow, and the cold.) I love November because it means we are in the heart of the holiday season! This really is a magical time of year! I am looking forward to Thanksgiving, and I must say I have so much to be grateful for. To begin with I would like to say that this Halloween was the scariest Halloween in my life. Jeff got into a motorcycle accident on Halloween, and let me just say it was no treat. We did have to stay a couple nights in the hospital because he had surgery on his wrist. All in all everything went well. The nurses and doctors were super nice, and Jeff seemed to handle the situation pretty well. This experience came at such an appropriate time. A time when we should count our blessings and be grateful for what has happened to us. And let me just say that I am grateful that Jeff is okay, and that we had great support from his family. We are really blessed that nothing more happened to him, and that he was wearing his helmet. This experience has helped me to see all of the great blessings that I have, and that I should always count them. I am so grateful for my Jeffy, and for my Sammy. I am grateful for our house and our jobs, and I am grateful for our friends and our families. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow
I have been putting off writing this because of how sad it is, but unfortunately we decided that it was best to get rid of Daisy. She escaped too many of our contraptions. In fact our last straw was when Daisy managed to escape her harness when she was tied up to a stake. She has been gone now for three weeks, and it has been hard to see her go. However she is now living in Stansbury with a family that has eight children! They say she is doing really well, which makes us happy. Anyway we miss you Daisy, and we will always love you!!!
